A visit to the city of Cusco is a good introduction to enjoy everything that comes after. You’ll visit the cathedral of Cusco, the temple of Qoricancha, and then continue on to see four archaeological sites around the city: the impressive Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Cusco is a beautiful city, located at 3,300 metres above sea level, and is famous for its history and magic, leaving those who visit it astonished.

Start Of The Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel/hostel at 01:00 PM. Our first stop will be the renowned Cathedral of Cusco where you will be amazed by the awe-inspiring architecture mainly chapels, altars etc.

Qoriqancha
Following the tour, we will walk to the temple of Qoriqancha (The temple of the sun). Here, you will see the beauty of the Incan architecture and at the same time witness the impact of the Catholic influence. It was here, the Spanish colonists built the Church of Santo Domingo after demolishing the temple and using its foundations for the cathedral. This is one of the numerous sites where the Spanish incorporated Inca stonework into the structure of a colonial building.

Archaeological Sites
From the temple of Qoriqancha, our mini-bus will drive us to the four incredible archaeological sites around the city. Sacsayhuaman, with its incredible stones, each one weighing more than 100 tons. Here you will have an opportunity to familiarise with the history and culture and discover the meaning and importance of this iconic place. Then, just five minutes away from Sacsayhuaman, we will reach Qenqo and see its emblematic altar. After this, we will visit the archaeological sites of Puka Pukara (Red Fort) and Tambomachay (Temple of Water).

End of the Tour
Ending our tour, we will return to Cusco’s city centre (San Francisco square).
