Feel the vibes of the real Peru as you would traverse through the iconic sites of the country. Your 14 days tour would begin in the Peruvian capital of Lima, where our representative will meet you at the airport upon arrival and assist with the transfer to your hotel. The following evening we will gear up for the expedition to the iconic mountain ranges in the northern part of the country in Huaraz. Each day has the chance for new discoveries with visits to iconic attractions like Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu and more.

Day 1: Lima
Flight to Lima, reception and transport to the hotel.

Day 2: LIMA - HUARAZ
Departure in the itinerary bus to Huaraz City at 17.00 hrs. approx. transport to the selected hotel. Overnight at Huaraz.

Day 3: LAKE LLANGANUCO - CALLEJON DE HUAYLAS-HUASCARAN NATIONAL PARK
Full day excursion visiting the Callejón de Huaylas, Valley between Cordillera Blanca and Cordillera Negra and the meander of the Santa river. We will ascend to the Lakes of Llanganuco, located at the base of the Huascaran and Huandoy snowcapped mountains, and to the Huascarán National Park. Overnight.

Day 4: CHAVIN DE HUANTAR
This tour will enable us to visit the Callejón de Conchucos, rear side of the Cordillera Blanca, where we will find the Castillo de Chavin. This castle was an important site for worshipping of the pre-Incas culture that bears its same name. This culture was the matrix of the Peruvian civilization. Return to Huaraz. Overnight.

Day 5: HUARAZ - LIMA
Transport to the station. Regular bus to Lima. Reception and transport to the selected hotel. Overnight.

Day 6: LIMA – JULIACA – SILLUSTANI - PUNO
Transport to the airport. Flight to Juliaca. We will continue the trip by bus to the city of Puno. On the way we will visit the funeral towers or “Chullpas de Sillustani,” which are located at the lower slopes of the magic Lake Umayo. Afternoon leisure time in the capital of the Peruvian Altiplano. Overnight.

Day 7: PUNO - UROS AND TAQUILE ISLANDS (LAGO TITICACA)
Meeting at the hotel and transfer to the port of Puno. Visit to the astonishing floating island of the Uros and continuing to the Island Takile, where inhabitants have preserved its ancestral customs until today, and from which a spectacular sight of the Titikaka River is offered. Return in the afternoon to Puno. Overnight.

Day 8: Puno - Cuzco
Transport to the bus station. Tourist bus to the City of Cuzco. All along the journey we will pass by colorful towns and we will arrive at La Raya (4,300 m), the most elevated point of the altiplano plateau where llamas and alpacas can be seen. Arrival in Cuzco late in the afternoon. Note: It is possible to make this journey by train (Mon,Wed, Fri or Sat)

Day 9: Cusco
Morning at leisure. Afternoon visit to the imperial City and to the nearby ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Overnight.

Day 10: SACRED VALLEY
Coinciding with the market days (Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday), full-day excursion, visiting the town of Pisa and its popular fair. Continuing to Ollantaytambo, passing through different towns of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where Urubamba and Calca stands out, among others. Visit to the Ollantaytambo fortress. Return to Cuzco. Overnight.

Day 11: CUZCO - MACHUPICCHU
Transport to San Pedro train station. Crossing by railway until Aguas Calientes station. Bus to the Machupicchu fortress. Guided visit to the “Lost City of the Incas”. Afternoon, continuing to the settlement of Aguas Calientes. Overnight at this colorful town.

Day 12: MACHUPICCHU – CUZCO
Day at Leisure. We would recommend going up the fortress again, enjoy the entrance of the firsts sunrays illuminating the fortress (it is possible to make so from the Inti Punko or Puerta del Sol) and visit the complex another time. Anyone would have enough time to climb the HuaynaPicchu or “Young Mountain ”. Afternoon return to Cuzco by train. Overnight.

Day 13: CUZCO - LIMA
Transport to the airport. Return flight to Lima. Afternoon visit to the Modern and Colonial Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, the San Francisco Convent and the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. Also, visit to the Gold Museum, private collection of prehispanic golden pieces. Overnight.

Transport to the airport. Return flight.
