Upon selecting a program, it’s important to thoroughly examine the terms and conditions, as these outlined rules will govern your booking. Completing a payment for any program or trip through “Peru Inka Trek” signifies your agreement and commitment to adhere to these terms, which are applicable to all tours.
General Information:
Program itinerary adjustments may be required due to weather conditions, river statuses, or the preferences of the group. “Peru Inka Trek” holds no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings, nor for any consequences stemming from such incidents. We are not liable for any illnesses or accidents associated with the tour, and such expenses will be borne by the clients. Clients are also accountable for any borrowed equipment and must reimburse for any damages or losses before returning to Cusco. Clients must ensure their physical and mental readiness, with “Peru Inka Trek” not liable for any discrepancies in these assessments.
Reservation Steps:
Please reach out for guidance prior to making any payments. To reserve your chosen program, a non-refundable deposit of 50% per participant is necessary. Your payment finalizes a contractual agreement with “Peru Inka Trek,” and your booking is confirmed upon our written acknowledgment.
For the initial deposit, payment options include WESTERN UNION, PAYPAL, or other online methods. Clients are responsible for any banking or transfer fees.
Payment of Final Balance:
Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. The remaining balance should be paid at our office at least one day before your tour in Peruvian soles, U.S. dollars, or via Visa (subject to an 8% fee). The price per person established at booking is final.
Client Cancellation:
For cancellations, a written notification to “Peru Inka Trek” is required. The initial deposit is non-refundable. Check your insurance for potential coverage for cancellation reasons.
Cancellations made more than 15 days before departure will result in a loss of 50% of the deposit. For cancellations made between 7 and 15 days before departure, if the full payment has been made, 50% of the total cost will be refunded. No refunds are offered for cancellations less than 48 hours before departure or for partial tour cancellations.
Alterations/Cancellations by Us:
Should unforeseen circumstances like technical issues, adverse weather, strikes, governmental actions, or civil disturbances occur, “Peru Inka Trek” will attempt to arrange alternative or equivalent trips without offering refunds. Adjustments to the itinerary may be necessary, but we will strive to maintain the agreed-upon services.
Significant changes will be communicated prior to your trip, with suitable alternative arrangements proposed. Any extra costs arising from these changes will be the client’s responsibility. We cannot cover expenses related to international flights, visas, vaccinations, etc.
If “Peru Inka Trek” cancels a tour, a full refund will be provided.
Acknowledging Potential Risks:
Our tours aim to deliver authentic experiences, inherently carrying risks such as injury, emotional distress, or death. By participating, individuals acknowledge these risks and affirm their health and fitness. “Peru Inka Trek” is not accountable for any accidents or injuries.
Tour Leadership:
The guide or company representative has the final say on matters of safety and the well-being of the group. Compliance with their instructions and adherence to Peru’s drug laws are mandatory. Actions jeopardizing the safety of the group may result in expulsion from the tour without refund.
Required Documentation:
A valid passport is required, and it is recommended to carry the original or a copy during excursions.
Insurance for Travelers:
We strongly advocate for comprehensive travel insurance covering accidents, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, travel disruptions, and baggage loss.
Partnership with External Providers:
“Peru Inka Trek” works with various third-party providers like airlines and hotels to enhance the experience. These independent providers are beyond our control, and we are not responsible for any delays or inconveniences they may cause.
Claims and Complaints:
Should you encounter service issues, inform the guide immediately. Further complaints must be submitted in writing to the company within a week following the tour.
Disputes are resolved exclusively in Cusco, Peru, according to Peruvian Law. Claims against “Peru Inka Trek” are limited to the cost of the disputed service, excluding indirect losses or opportunities for profit.
